Background:
I moved to San Diego from South Dakota in 2001 to attend law school. It was a huge step because I didn’t know anything, but from the moment that I got here, I knew San Diego was going to be my permanent home!  While in law school, I began an internship program with an estate planning firm and discovered the world of estate planning and administration.  After one semester, I realized that this was an area of law in which I would enjoy practicing law.  Now, I get to do it everyday!

I truly believe that having a well structured and maintained estate plan gives clients peace of mind knowing that their love ones will be taken care of with minimal hassle.  Having the opportunity to practice at a firm where I can focus on making the estate and trust administration uncomplicated for the clients is exciting.  I enjoy the structure of the administration process, but I also like problem solving if the need arises.  I am also a trained mediator, so I feel comfortable using my mediation skills to work through disputes to a satisfactory resolution.

I maintain a very close relationship with my family in South Dakota. They love coming to visit lovely San Diego whenever they have a chance!  When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends.  My weimaraner, Phoebe Grace, gets most of my free time!  We enjoy going for runs, to the park, and of course to the beach with friends!
